This week in Reception we went on a walk to the local woods to look for seasonal signs of Summertime. We saw buttercups, a fallen tree and we even found a den ! Back in the classroom we wrote sentences to describe what we found on our walk. 

We used the natural resources we collected from the woods to create some natural art images - such as faces and patterns.

We have also continue to explore Africa through books, maps, video clips and we even tried on some traditional African clothing called 'ashobi'. 

 In Maths, we have been learning how to count backwards on a number line to solve subtraction questions: such as 10 - 3.
