It's been a fabulous start to this half term, and a VERY busy one!  We have been learning about all things Medieval and the children have remembered castle facts, attended Knight's school and written some super castle stories.  We have also learned how castles were attacked and we have done some science activities to explore what are the best material to build a castle from.  It was interesting to test how much damage different weights of missiles did to our pretend curtain walls and how far our 'catapults' fired! 
On top of this, we have also had book week which was an amazing success.  Starting with a breakfast croissant read and ending with a snuggly story with slippers and teddies made for a  fun filled week.
