Well what a wonderful week Pufferfish class have had. They have loved our mini sport's day, African drumming, monochromatic self-portraits, Rock and Roll dancing, an enchanted woodland drama session, circus skills, creating Tiddalik puppets and making thank you cards for the activity week organisers.
All the activities were engaging and fun and every child in my class exceeded my expectations with their superb positivity and excellent behaviour. Well done Pufferfish!
There has been so much going on this week I hardly know where to start! Our Puffins have had an amazing time (as you can see) doing Year 2 sport's day, African drumming, learning about Tiddalick the greedy frog, monochromatic self-portraits, Rock and Roll dancing, a drama workshop and even circus skills. Phew!
It has been a brilliant week and now we are all looking forward to a lovely rest at the weekend. A great big thank you to all concerned for making it all such a success!
Lobsters class have had a fantastic activity week . We had a great sports morning earlier in the week, followed by a super African drumming workshop. We thoroughly enjoyed the dance routine and the eventful drama workshop in the magical forest. Today we became circus performers! In class we have been learning about all about Tiddalik and have completed our monochromatic art challenge drawing self portraits. It has been a lovely week for everyone.
GB Athlete Gerald Matthew came in to speak with the children in Year 3 this morning before heading to the British Championships in Manchester on Friday. He spoke to the children about what it takes to be an athlete and took questions from the children.
I'm sure you'll join us in wishing Gerald all the best in the 100m's this weekend.
The 100m heats are on Friday at 18:05 and you can watch the full event on the British Athletics Website
