This week we have been having fun in the sunshine. We have put on our sun hats and enjoyed the good weather.
We have been learning about the life cycle of a butterfly and continuing to watch the caterpillars we have in our classrooms. They have grown and changed in the past week and are now at the cocoon stage of the life cycle. I am sure that the children will soon be coming home and letting you know that the butterflies have emerged! The children have made their own life cycle books.
We also had a visit from two police officers this week to talk to the children about road safety.
In maths we have been learning about sharing sets of objects between, two, three and four people.
We have also revisited doubling numbers and halving numbers.
Next week is going to be really exciting for reception as it is Activity week. We are going to have fun dancing, playing instruments and keeping fit.
Find out all of the exciting things we have been doing.
