This half term we will be learning to:
- Write non-chronological reports
- Write instructions
​- Retell stories from historical events

Suggested Activities

To support your child at home you could:
​- Find out about Tutankhamen 
- Research how the Egyptians build pyramids

Maths

This half term we will be learning to:
- Use the formal written method for multiplication
- 

Suggested Activities

To support your child at home you could:
​- Practise their KIRFs
​
- Practise the 3, 4 and 8 times tables
- 
Look at different numbers you see in everyday life (shops, petrol stations, elevators etc.) and say what they are and compare them. 
​- Play Times Table Rockstars

Humanities (History and Geography)

This half term we will be learning to:
- Locate Egypt on a map and consider why the River Nile was vital to the Egyptian's survival
- Look at Egyptian Rituals and Traditions
- Explore the key facts of Howard Carter's Life

Suggested Activities

To support your child at home you could:
​- Visit the British Museum and look at the Egyptian exhibitions.
