The school council will continue to sell poppy appeal merchandise next week. Orders to be placed with the class teachers and they will be delivered the next day (except Friday which will be the same day).
The current school councillors will continue to take part for the whole of this term. However, we need a new school council to be elected within the first two weeks of the next term. Children that are interested in joining the school council need to prepare a "pitch" which they will give to their class. It is really important that the children of the school vote for the new councillors. The pitch could include: suggested improvements to the school, charity work ideas, local community work, and ideas for events for the forthcoming year. This is a super opportunity to gain extra responsibility and represent your class. Although meetings will look a bit different, it will be fun and safe! Good Luck !

Please find enclosed the letter containing details of how to give consent for your child to receive the free NHS flu vaccination.
The Reception staff want to say a huge well done to all of our new starters this year. Starfish, Sealions, Jellyfish & Seahorses have all done so well on their very first half term of school. The children have been learning lots of new school expectations and routines, making new friends and having lots of fun together. Well done Reception! Have a well earned half term! This week, Year 3 carried out a science investigation to see if we could make an egg bounce! The children enjoyed observing the process and were very excited to see that it actually worked!
