The staff at Holywell have created two videos to help answer some of the most frequently asked questions about what it will be like for the children moving to Holywell in September. If after watching the videos you still have any questions, please contact your class teacher who will be happy to seek out an answer for you.
Over the next few weeks you may be starting to think about your child’s transition into their new year group. Here are some resources to help to ease any concerns your child may have about transitioning:
Managing unexpected endings and transitions Tools for managing emotions Helpful Ideas for Reception children The first Art Builders Toolkit is out! Watch the video, download the tool kit and have a go! We'd love to see your outcomes. Email your finished pieces to cmitri@woottonlowerschool.co.uk We have had several of you ask for the solution to Monday 22nd June's Year 3 maths challenge. Mr Dixon has made a short (and badly shot) video which hopefully explains the answer. Hopefully this makes sense now. If you want to give making a flower a go (Challenge 2) we'd love to see what you come up with. .
We challenge you to watch the whole video without singing along! Missing you all. In order to help Sustrans and Bedford Borough Council plan for the future and to further promote active travel to families, they have produced a simple online survey for parents to fill in. It takes less than 5 minutes and the link is:
https://sustrans.onlinesurveys.ac.uk/bedford-schools-parent-survey There is a prize incentive for one lucky respondent who will win a £400 bicycle to suit their child. Fantastic home learning made as a team by a reception & year 3 brother & sister. We’re very impressed with the stop animation skills, fantastic facts & their use of expression when narrating their facts. Music for Bedford Borough is a Bedford County Council Service, providing whole-class instrumental lessons and a wide variety of projects in schools. We are reaching out to parents through this newsletter to help you find activities to keep your child active and creative!
