The children and staff in coral bubble have had an extremely busy and fun half term. They have been learning through play and sensory exploration and have enjoyed the stories of 'The Gingerbread Man', 'Goldilocks and the Three Bears' and 'Mr Wolf's Pancakes'. They even ate their own chocolate spread pancakes - yum yum!
Take a look at some of their wonderful work. Hi boys and girls, here are three lovely posters sent in after last week's assembly that I wanted to share with you all. Here is my assembly for this week. I thought I could give you a little fun project to do over half term ... you could make your very own time capsule. Have a look at my assembly to give you some ideas. I do hope you are all doing OK. Take care and see you soon! Mr T Welcome to this weeks Mrs Maguire's Family Story Time. This week we are reading 'The Koala Who Could' by Rachel Bright. This is the same author who wrote 'The Lion Inside' which we read in Week 1 of the story time sessions. This is a story all about having a 'growth mindset' and a 'can do' attitude to give things a try even when you find them tricky. I hope you enjoy! Miss Wright and Mrs Maguire have put together the following slides to demonstrate how to support your child in their early writing skills in Reception and Year 1. Any questions please email us :) The Year 3 home learners have created some amazing art inspired by the Iron Man. We have tried to include as many of the wonderful pictures as possible. Aren't they incredible.
This week is Children's Mental Health week and in honour of this I have chosen two stories about staying mentally well. The first 'The Colour of Happy' is aimed at EYFS and KS1 and the second 'Ruby's Worry' is more appropriate for KS1 and KS2. I have also suggested some follow up activities if you would like to explore these texts more as a family. I hope you enjoy! |
